Kevin Watson

Kevin Gene Watson, a proud husband, father, grandfather, and brother died August 18, 2017 in Norton Hospital, Louisville, KY with family and friends at his bedside. He was born the fourth child of Carlton S. and Mattie Mitchell-Watson on August 30, 1948. Gene was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Jacqueline. Gene leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife and friend of 50 years, Brenda, two sons, Kwane (Michelle) and Javon Watson, three grandchildren: Kane Watson, Jaylan Gantt and Maxwell Higgins all of Louisville, Ky., siblings: Billy (Mattie), Ricky (Patricia), Ronnie (Wanda) Watson, Alice (James) Morgan, Arlena (Howard) Jackson all of Arkansas, Gary (Sherry) Watson, Minnesota, Sherry Hall of New Jersey, his loving in-laws, Jerry and Essie Boone, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Graveside service will be held Saturday September 2, 2017, 10 a.m. at Mt. Valley Cemetery, Cato Community, and a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. at Pleasant Grove CME Church, 9717 Frenchman Mountain Road, Sherwood, Ark. 72120, Pastor Issac Ross.
