JOSEPH AARON TARR, of Jacksonville, Ark., passed away Dec. 1, 2017, at 4:15 a.m. He was born Feb. 14, 1970, to Ronald and Twyla Tarr of Cabot. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Kimberly (King) Tarr, his three children, Brianna, Caleb and Derek, also of Jacksonville. He is also survived by three brothers and one sister, Michael (Julie) Tarr of Indiana, Jonathan (Candi) Tarr of Florida, Darryl (Lyndsey) Tarr of Jacksonville, MaKaylah (Ryan) Solis of Cabot, and several nieces and nephews. Joe was a faithful staff member of Bible Baptist Church in Jacksonville for 20 years and principal of Jacksonville Christian Academy for 13 of those years. He is with Jesus his Savior after an intense battle with pancreatic cancer. Christ has given him the victory. Joe's life verse was about his Lord, "He must increase, but I must decrease." John 3:30 KJV. A celebration of Joe's Life and a viewing will start at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017 at Bible Baptist Church in Jacksonville. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, 2017 at Bible Baptist Church in Jacksonville with Dr. Mike Files officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
