Maria Elizabeth Mathis

Maria Elizabeth Mathis, 80, of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born November 8, 1937 to Freidrich and Maria Hasenfratz in Kubelberg Rheinlanol-Pfalz, West Germany. She was active in the church, Extension Homemakers Club. Charities, enjoyed cooking, and bird watching. Survivors include; three sons: Mike Mathis and Steven Mathis both of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Glen Mathis of Huntsville, Alabama; two daughters: Belinda Bryant of Sheridan, Arkansas; Karen King of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents; she is preceded by; her husband: James Mathis; and one brother: Freidrich Hasenfriatz.
