Sarah Martha Brown

Sarah Martha Brown, 85, of Sherwood, passed away December 5, 2017. She was born November 20, 1932, in Mansfield, Louisiana, to Ralph and Fanny Guice. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 53 years, Leon Brown, a brother, Clayton Guice and a sister, Gloria Durbonne. Sarah was a homemaker and member of Park Hill Presbyterian Church in North Little Rock. She was a very creative person who loved painting and sculpting. She was an enthusiastic gardener who also enjoyed reading and traveling with her family. She is survived by sons, Clayton Leon Brown and wife, Deborah, Kenneth Lee Brown, and Paul Jonathan Brown and wife Shannon; grandchildren, Nancy Brown, Scott Brown, Jamie Aponte, Jonathan Brown, and Dustin Brown; great-grandchildren, Gracie, Ethan, Brooklyn, Avery, Ella, and Jackson; a brother, Mac Guice; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 9, at 2 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock. Committal service will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
