Marion Leon Southerland

Marion Leon Southerland, 87, of Jacksonville went to be with his Lord on Friday, December 8, 2017. He was born January 7, 1930 in Delaplaine, Arkansas to the late Joseph Marion Southerland and Hazel Hall Southerland. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Lois Jarry Southerland. He was a retired minister with the Bible Missionary Church. He is survived by his wife Rachel Pauline Southerland, his two sons, Michael Southerland (April), Don Southerland, one sister, Doris Janice Clark, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2017 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Bible Missionary Church 3001 Old Military Road in Jacksonville. Interment will follow in Johnson Cemetery in Jacksonville.
