Delores King Hicks

DELORES KING-HICKS went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 5, 2017. A celebration of her life will be held on Dec. 28, 2017 at Lewis Funeral Home, San Antonio, Texas. The final committal will be at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. Delores, born and raised in Little Rock, Ark., graduated from Horace Mann High School, class of 1951. She later married the love of her life and was a military spouse living in various locations around the world and proudly served as a Licensed Registered Nurse for over 30 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur N. Hicks Jr. and survived by her daughters, Aquanetta Hicks, Adrienne Hicks, Antoinette Williams and DeShanna Seifert; sisters, Dorothy Shavers and Denise Gillespie; and brother, Robert King, as well as seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
