Ronny Byron Walkup

RONNY BYRON WALKUP, 67, of Little Rock, passed away Nov. 28, 2017. He was born Dec. 5, 1949, to the late Robert L. Walkup Sr. and Mary Louise Walkup. Ronny worked at ABF Freight. His favorite pastime was spending time at the horse races in Oaklawn. Preceding Ronny in death are his parents and brother, Robert "Bobby" Walkup II. He leaves to cherish his memory his significant other for over 26 years, Wanda Nall of Little Rock; son, Clay Millwood and wife Candy of Benton, Ark.; three nieces: Shelley Turner and husband Glenn, Megan Walkup, and Mandy Hill and husband Jeff; one nephew, Robert "Bob" Walkup, III; two great-nephews: Alston Turner and Grayson Hill; two great-nieces: Hailey Walkup and Cadence Hill; two uncles: Elton Pledger and wife Linda and James Pledger and wife Sharon; best friends for many years: Louis Caldarera and wife Judy, Tommy "Red" Burlison, and Ronnie Cole; and a host of family members and friends who love Ronny and will miss him always. Special appreciation to Wes Kemp for his kindness and generosity. Memorial service, officiated by Rev. Elton Cole, will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 16, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N.
