Laura Marie Sowell

Laura Marie Sowell, 78, of Little Rock joined her husband in heaven on December 9, 2017. She was born in Roland, Arkansas to the late Julia and Walter Goodwin, on December 4, 1939. Laura worked at Timex for many years, before joining her husband on cross country trucking runs. She eventually settled on becoming a barber, and loved all things frog related. Laura is preceded in death by her husband, Carl, and two brothers. She is survived by her 12 children, 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one brother and a host of family and friends. A visitation will be Saturday, December 16, at Hebron Baptist Church, in Little Rock, from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Inurnment in the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery will take place at a later date.
