Winnie Faye Jackson (Hanna) "Missy" Jeffus, age 79, of Lower White Oak Lake, Chidester, Ark. passed away at her home on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. She was born April 27, 1938 to the late E.R. "Ray" Jackson and Ruthie Mae Hargis Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 1/2 years, James E. Hanna, Jr. - affectionately known as Jamie; her brothers, Kerry Winford Jackson, Wallace Wayne Jackson, and Waymon Ray Jackson; one sister, Wanda Ray (Jackson) Williams; and one aunt, Rita Maurice (Jackson) Guice. "Jamie" and Faye's union was blessed on January 8, 1958 by the birth of their daughter, Dawn Colette. 24 years later, Dawn made them the happiest grandparents on earth when she gave birth to her only daughter and their only granddaughter, Kasi Brianne Hanna (Lambert). Left to cherish her memory and the happy memories that they shared is her husband, Samuel C. "Sam" Jeffus of Chidester and Buddy, their fur-baby; her daughter, Dawn Carle and husband Beau; granddaughter, Kasi Townes and husband Will and great-grandchildren, Styhl, Storm and Syreniti Townes who adored their "Maw Maw Face"; one sister, Wilma Ruth Barker and husband Clifton; one brother, Wyatt LeDale Jackson; and one honorary sister, Bevely Jean Thomas Jackson; step-son, Douglas Chambliss and wife Pam; step-daughter, Debbie English along with numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. A memorial service will be held at Proctor Funeral Home, Camden, Ark. on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 3 p.m. with Reverend Ken Keys officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 2-3PM before the service. The family asks that donations be made in her name to OCMC Hospice, Camden, Ark.
