James E. Morgan

James E. Morgan, 83, of Batesville, died Wednesday. He was born October 25, 1934, the son of Elsa Earl, Sr. and Thelma (Wilfong) Morgan. He married Miss Donna Sue (Draper) on April 5, 1953, and together they spent 64 years. Mr. Morgan lived for his family, whom he loved with all his heart. Perhaps his greatest enjoyment came from time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an honest, straightforward man. Preceding him in death were his wife, Donna; two brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include three daughters, Sue Ruff and husband, Michael, of Clinton, Arkansas, Belinda McCleskey of East Peoria, Illinois, and Sherry Murray of East Peoria, Illinois; six grandchildren, Morgan Ruff, Corey Ruff and wife, Courtney, Heather Hedrick and husband, Karl, Katie Culler and husband, Andrew, Bobby McCleskey and wife, Amanda, and Samantha Murray; nine great-grandchildren, James Ray, Rachel, Elizabeth, Autumn, Carissa, Alex, Eli, and Addison; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
