Dorothy Lee Kidd Davenport

Dorothy Lee Kidd Davenport, age 75, of Benton passed away Friday Dec. 15, 2017. She was born June 21, 1942 in Bauxite. Dorothy was a 1960 graduate of Bauxite High School, and a 1963 graduate of Arkansas Baptist School of Nursing. Dorothy retired from nursing after 47 years, 42 years of which were at St Vincent's Hospital. She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Rowland Davenport, Benton; sister, Ludie Clyde Pitts, Bryant; her extended family, Retired LT. Col. Richard Wallace (Therese), Cassie Smith (Nigel), Charlotte Elizabeth (Richard), Evan Michael Wallace (Stephanie), Evan Michael Wallace II, and Austin Wallace. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 E. Ohio Street, Chicago, Ill. 60611, Suite 304.
