Hal Gene Astle Jr.

Dr. Hal Gene Astle Jr., 61, of Rogers, Ark., died peacefully Dec. 18, 2017 in Fayetteville, Ark., from complications of Multiple Sclerosis. Hal was born in Idaho on Oct. 30, 1956. He was a neurologist who loved God, his family, hunting, fishing, BYU sports, serving others, and "jellyfishing". His life motto was "do your best." Hal is survived by his wife, Alene, of 37 years; five children; six grandchildren; his mother; and four siblings. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 29, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1101 McCollum Drive in Bentonville, with a visitation at 10 a.m. until service time. Burial and military honors will follow at Pinnacle Memorial Gardens in Rogers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Dr. Hal Astle Jr. to the Ann Romney Center for Neurologic Diseases at http://give.brighamandwomen s.org/give/tribute-and-memoria l-giving.
