Bobbie "Carol" Patton Brown, 82, of Little Rock passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 11, 1935 to the late Jake Goldman Patton and Elva Cox Cooper. She was a lifelong resident of Little Rock and a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. Carol is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Harold Gene (H.G.) Brown of Little Rock; sons, Gene Patton Brown and Neil Drake Brown; and her brother-in-law, Jerry Brown. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Caryn Michelle and Keith Smith of Little Rock; two granddaughters, Lindsey Brooke Holbert (Drew) and Erin Bray Rybak (Garrett); four great-grandchildren, Beau Andrew Holbert and Tessa Drew Holbert, Levi Bray Rybak and Lucy James Rybak; sister, Sharon Counts (Pete); brother, Robert Cooper (Cindy); cousin, Bettye "Puddin" Daley (Tim). To her family and friends, Carol was known for her strength, courage, and comforting presence. She was fiercely devoted to God and lived an honorable life that focused on serving others before herself. Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, December 30 at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander. Family will receive friends on Friday, December 29 from 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. at Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark.
