David Nelson Crawford

David Nelson Crawford born on December 12, 1939. Dave was proceeded in death by his mother Jessie R. Crawford, father, Robert W. Crawford, stepmother, Virginia Crawford, brothers, Gary Martin Crawford and Paul Franklin Crawford. Survived by his wife of 23 years, Linda M. Crawford, sisters, Sue Johnson, Martha (Tommy) Guice, Linda (Arthur) Huckaby & Jane (Mike) Posey, and brother, Wayne (June) Crawford; children, Sandra (Guy) McDonald, Mark (Roberta) Crawford, Jill (Jim) Bennett & Kelli Orsini; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Dave was employed with DA Sparks for 31 years then was self employed for five years. Dave retired in 1998, he loved working in his yard which included beautiful landscaping and a Koi pond. He loved going to the Razorback games with his son Mark and he loved his two dogs, Rufus & Tusk along with his kitty, Oreo. Jill, Dave's daughter, said it best "Isn't it wonderful that Dad got to spend Christmas with Jesus on his birthday." Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, December 29, 2017 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock (501) 791-7400, with a private burial with military honors to follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
