Artie Frances Spears

Artie Frances Spears, 96, of Springdale, Ark., passed away on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at the Circle of Life Hospice Home in Springdale, Ark. Artie was born April 2, 1921, in Red Star, Ark., to Jack and Nettie Bohannon. She married Arthur Spears on April 3, 1938, and shared a beautiful life with him. Artie enjoyed being a homemaker for the family, while gardening and sewing. She is survived by her son, Harold Spears and wife, Jan of Rogers, Ark.; two daughters, Betty Robertson of Springdale, Ark., and Imogene Griffith of Springdale, Ark.; one sister, Dorothy Shawhart of Amarillo, Texas; five grandchildren, Gwen Griffith, Carolyn Chestnut, Marsha Overton, and Dale Robertson; three great-grandchildren; and many other loved ones. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack Bohannon and Nettie Hibbard-Bohannon, one son, Carold Spears, and one grandchild, Candy Ford.
