Duane Lawson

Duane Lawson, 65, of Elkins passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 in Fayetteville. He was born Dec. 7, 1951 in Fayetteville to Bent and Irene Toney Lawson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bent and Irene Lawson and sisters, Linda Parrish and Brenda Samuels. Duane was a member of the Tuttle Church of Christ. He is survived by his daughter, Jenifer Lewis and husband, Roy; and three grandchildren, Corissa Lewis, Colten Lewis and BreAnna Lewis, all of Elkins. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20, 2017 at the Tuttle Church of Christ with Craig Richardson and Chaplain Paul Woodhouse officiating. Interment will follow in the Wesley Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017 at the funeral home.
