Joshua Jacob Hawkins went to his eternal rest December 27, 2016. Josh was born March 23, 1980, in Oceanside, California to Tim and Sue Hawkins. He was the oldest of four children. His sister Jenny passed away when Josh was four. Josh lived in California until he was five, he them moved to Virginia and Wisconsin with his family, before his parents settled in Arkansas when Josh was 13. Josh learned to ride horses when he was five and spent all of his teenage years working with animals. Josh attended Greenbrier High School and was very active in FFA. He graduated high school at the top of his class. Josh tried many things after high school before he finally found a home at Dreamweavers in Little Rock. He was working there at the time of his passing. Josh had many friends and he never met a stranger. He was kind hearted and compassionate. He wanted to help others and he never complained. Josh had the most contagious smile. It would light up a room. Josh loved to make his sister laugh and they were always laughing when together. Josh is survived by his parents, Tim and Sue, sister, Liz (Matt), brother Joey (Melissa), grandparents Sal and Pat Corrao and Elizabeth Kroening, three nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, his dog "Duke" and many friends. The relatives and friends of Josh are invited to attend a service to celebrate his life on Saturday January 7, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Clinton. If only we knew the last time we held you, that it was the last time ever, we would never have let you go. We will miss you always.
