Kennedy Ann "Weezy" Hogue

Kennedy Ann "Weezy" Hogue, of Little Rock, passed away in her sleep, unexpectedly, on January 1, 2017. Kennedy is a born-again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. She was baptized at Immanuel Baptist Church at the age of 7. Kennedy was born September 23, 1999, in Little Rock, Ark. to Michael Dale Hogue and Traci Walker Hogue. Kennedy is the beloved little sister of Katelyn Elizabeth Hogue and Caroline Dayle Hogue and the precious granddaughter of Elizabeth Dianne McDaniel Hogue and Larry Dale Hogue, of Little Rock (formerly of Tulsa, OK) and of Charles R. Walker, of Hot Springs. Kennedy is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Marty Ann Elam Walker, of Hot Springs, Ark. She is the cherished niece to Jeff and Kim Hogue, Chris and Dree Hogue, and Chris and Laura Walker and the adored cousin to Kailey and Josh Wood, Kendall, Ashton, Noelle and James Hogue, Preslie and Colt Walker, and Gage Stark. She was part of the Immanuel Baptist Church family her whole life. For the last nine years, she had been part of the loving community of Baptist Prep. Kennedy was a treasured friend to so many. She loved people well. She loved home, and the homes of others. Her sisters became her best friends. She was a musician, a cook, an athlete, a planner, but always an enjoyer. Her infectious smile and her generous hugs were her trademark. A funeral service memorializing Kennedy Hogue will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Immanuel Baptist Church, 501 N. Shackleford, Little Rock. Visitation with the family in the Gathering Hall of Immanuel Baptist Church will follow the funeral service.
