Lois Iva Langley, 87, of Pine Bluff, died Sunday, January 1, 2017 at home. She was born April 4, 1929 in Prairie County, Arkansas, to the late Louis Halford and Annie Mae Frizzell Halford. Mrs. Langley was reared and received her early education in, Tennessee, from Millington High School. After moving to Pine Bluff, in 1950, she worked as a beautician for 64 years, owning and operating "Lois's Beauty Salon" for nearly 50 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for more than 50 years. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, James Coye Langley, whom she married September 4, 1949; one daughter; Paula Diane Presley in 1990; two sisters and seven brothers. Survivors include her two daughters, Susan Williams (Roger) and Sharon VanHooser (Rick); five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church, with visitation starting at 1 p.m. at the church.
