Tammy Lynn Brock

Tammy Lynn Brock, age 35, of Little Rock died Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Baptist Health Medical Center. She was born May 13, 1981 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to Tammy Higdon and the late Jerry Lynn Brock. Tammy was a graduate of Sheridan High School and served in the United States Army. She was a former Little Rock police officer and correctional officer. Tammy was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church in North Little Rock. In addition to her father, Tammy was preceded in death by her grandfather, Raymond Higdon and her nanny, Mae Smith. She is survived by her mother, Tammy Higdon Best and Dan of Kingsland; her partner, Lawanda Morris of Little Rock; two godchildren, Mariah and Caleb Neal of Little Rock; two brothers, Jerry Brock of Morrilton and Blake Romine of Rison and grandparents, Jim and Shirley Summerhill of Rison. Memorial services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Buie Funeral Home with Brother Windell Phillips officiating. There will be a visitation prior to the service, beginning at 1 p.m. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
