Warren Leslie Davis, 95, went to be with the Lord and celebrate the New Year with his beloved wife, Marjorie Davis on January 1, 2017. "Dave" was born and lived in Tulsa, Okla. through high school and then joined the Army Air Forces. He was rapidly given significant responsibilities that involved establishing airbases in Puerto Rico and Cuba. He continued his career in the USAF as a Chief Warrant Officer serving in many administrative positions at various bases in the U.S., England and Spain. After 28 years, he retired and began another 15-year career with Honeywell. He lived in Tampa until moving to Little Rock in 2010. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Dave was married 69 years to Marjorie Davis. They had a wonderful life traveling, serving their church, square dancing, camping, hiking, fishing, bird watching, and entertaining their family and friends. Dave enjoyed jogging, playing softball (catcher), tennis, woodcraft making, singing in the choir, and playing the harmonica. Dave and Marjorie together touched many people's lives. They were kind, thoughtful, and loved all those they encountered. Dave will be remembered for his easy-going spirit and humor. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Osborne and Nell Park Davis; his wife, Marjorie; his brother, Dick; sister, Wanda Franks; and grandson, Hunter Davis. He is survived by two children, Kathy Eisenach (Jeff) and Ken Davis (Bren), both of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Teri Kelley Reynolds (Nate), Wade Davis (Bekah) and Kyle Eisenach (Emily); ten great-grandchildren, Noah, Kaya, and Jade Kelley, Haven and Hayes Davis, Hadlee Rodgers, Noah, Lily, Eli, and Ella Eisenach. The family would like to thank Dr. Kajkenova, Chenal Fox Ridge staff, and the Shell Alzheimer's Center staff for their love, support and excellent care.
