Avis C. Duncan

Avis C. Duncan died on Thursday, January 5, 2017. She was born at Center Hill, White County, Arkansas to John and Carlie Harrison Cole. Avis was a 1941 graduate of Floyd High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 65 years, Sgt. O.L. Duncan (United States Army Retired), their son, Dennis Duncan at age 7, three brothers, Arvil Cole, Joe Cole, and Roy K. (Pete) Cole. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Faith (Doug), three grandchildren, Doug Faith (Suzy), Wesley Faith (Amy), Joanna Barker (Butch), three great-grandchildren, Hayden Faith, Emily Faith and Wally Faith. No services are planned at this time. Private Burial will be at Memphis National Cemetery at a later date. Roller-Daniel Funeral Home, Searcy is in charge of the arrangements.
