Mrs. Geneva Byrd Alexander, 87, of Tucker, Arkansas transitioned to her heavenly home January 7, 2017. Her husband, Joe Alexander, Jr. preceded her in death. Leaving cherished memories to children: Charles Alexander; Billy Alexander; Joe Ann Alexander; Dollie (Sylvester) Tillman; Bobbie (Michael) Ficklin and Vickey (Willard) Alexander-Banks; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sister: Eunice Williams; sister-in-law: Ernestine Byrd; host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017 at New Salem Baptist Church in Sherrill, Ark. by Rev. Clark Thomas. Interment will be in New Salem Cemetery by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff. Visitation/Family Hour will be Friday, 5:30-6:30 p.m., at Brown Funeral Home.
