Norvelle Fletcher of Little Rock, a cherished mother and grandmother, passed away with her children holding her hands on January 8, 2017. She was a retired elementary teacher with 25 years of service with the Pulaski County Special School District. She was preceded in death by her husband, Colton E. Fletcher Sr.; her mother, Alice Dunn; her sister, Eula Butler; and her daughter, Mary L. Fields. She is survived by her sons, James (Cassandra) Fletcher, Colton E. Fletcher Jr., and Charles A. Fletcher; her daughters, Margaret (Phillip) Wilson, Diana (Derak) Dixon, Rosemary (Allen) Mems and Denese R. Fletcher. She also leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and beloved family members. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to Shevita Wilson of Wilson's Adult Foster Care Facility and her staff for their excellent and loving care. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2017 at Premier Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at St. Peter's Rock Baptist Church, 2201 Brown Street, LR with Pastor Dr. J.E. Booker officiating.
