Bill J. Hanson

Bill J. Hanson passed away January 14, 2017 with his children at his side. He was born August 18, 1926 to W.B. and Ruby Ottinger Hanson. Bill was a World War II Veteran and a graduate of the University of Oklahoma. He was a retired Oil Marketer and Real Estate Broker, and longtime member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and beloved wife, Sue Sullivan Hanson. He is survived by two children, Holly Hanson, Jeff Hanson and his wife, Shelley; four precious grandchildren, Savannah, Jackson, Sully and Luke; sister, Peggy Pratt, niece, Kim Syler, her husband Mark and their children, Ashley Hilliard (Don) and Shannon Henry. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Valley Church of Christ 10900 Rodney Parham Rd., Little Rock, Ark. 7212 or Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Ark. 72116. In celebration of Bill's life, a visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 12 noon at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock., Ark. 72211, (501) 224-8300.
