Dolores Warren

Dolores Jean Haney Warren, age 86 of Bella Vista, AR died on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Circle of Life Hospice House. Dee was born on January 10, 1930 to Hubbard and Levena Haney in Macon, Missouri. She was always an extremely hard worker, spending many years as a substitute telephone operator for Bell South, working throughout all parts of Kansas City from the 1960s – 1980s, then managing her family business, Warren Construction, from 1993 to the present. Dee absolutely loved life and lived every moment to the fullest with her natural "spunk, fire and laughter." She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends. She was constantly on the go and always looking beautiful. She made friends everywhere she went, and was loved by all. Dee is survived by her husband of 27 years, Billy Joe Warren of Bella Vista; her son, John David Slaughter and wife, Gail, of Fairgrove, Mo.; stepsons, Billy Warren Jr. of Centerville, Iowa and Steven Warren and wife, Charlene, of Santa Fe, Texas; two grandsons, Zackery Slaughter and Arthur Putman. Dee was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Leigh Ann Putman of Kansas City, Mo. in 2011. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Circle of Life Hospice House, Bentonville, Ark. A memorial visitation will be Saturday, January 21, 2016 from 1-3 p.m. at Epting Funeral Home Bentonville.
