Marvin Brewer

Marvin Brewer, 45, of Searcy, formerly of West Point, passed from this life January 13, 2017 at Advanced Care Hospital in Searcy. He was born November 20, 1971 at Little Rock, Arkansas. He attended Searcy High School and enjoyed playing football as well as hunting and fishing with friends. He accepted Christ at an early age and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Ben Brewer Sr.; step-mother, Marilyn Brewer; and grandfather, Donald Baker Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Obera Norman of Searcy; grandmother, Lucille Hart (Rev. James Hart) of West Point; daughter, Sydney Foster (Kyle) of Searcy; son, Aden R. Brewer of Searcy; brother, Ben E. Brewer of Minnesota; three sisters, LaDonna Walls (Robin) of Kensett, Cameisha Brewer of Searcy, and Tressie E. Smith (Rev. Cedric) of Searcy; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2017 at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 21, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Bald Knob. Cremation will follow services. Services are entrusted to Sullivan Funeral Care of Kensett.
