Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Vandiver

Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Vandiver, 96, of Gurdon, died Monday, January 16, 2017. She was born in Nevada County to Sam and Stella Gill on May 14, 1920. She was a member of Beech Street Baptist Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy C. Vandiver, her son, William R. Vandiver, and two sisters. She is survived by her grandson, Bo Vandiver, and granddaughter, Kari "K.B." Harper (Dewayne), three great-grandchildren, Brady, Lauren and Hayden, and one great-great-granddaughter, Lilly. Visitation held by Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 1 p.m. til 2 p.m. Graveside services held at DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott at 2:30 p.m. officiated by Bro. Randy Cox.
