Irving Judson "Jud" Prindle

Irving Judson "Jud" Prindle, age 100, of North Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on January 17, 2017. He was born to the late, George D. and Olive L. Bartlett Prindle in Porterville, Texas on December 15, 1916. Jud lived most of his life in California and was very active in the Gardenia Assembly of God Church, where he helped build a church and a church school and also held a position on the church building board. He took a job working for Chevron while living in California and a few years later was drafted into the United States Navy during WWII. After Jud's honorable discharge he continued his career with Chevron and retired in 1978 having worked 35 years with the company. Jud met his wife of 59 years, Ruth, while she was vacationing and visiting family in California. He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters. Jud is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Ruth Janette Prindle; his son, David (Rebecca) Prindle, of North Little Rock; two daughters, LaMerle Dillinger of Flippin, Ark. and Monica Williams of Flippin, Ark.; along with nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Friday, January 20 at First Assembly of God in North Little Rock. Interment will be at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery at 11 a.m., on Thursday, January 26. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m., Thursday, January 19 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd. (501-791-7400).
