Francille Turbyfill, 85, of North Little Rock, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, January 19, 2017. She was born May 30, 1931 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late J. Frank Edwards and Lucille Skipper. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Tommy G. Turbyfill, sister, Jean Warren, sons, James Thomas Turbyfill and John Charles Turbyfill (infant) and grandson, Chad Thomas Buckley. She is survived by her daughters, Lynne Jewell (Jim), Cindy Wooldridge (Terry) all of North Little Rock; grandsons, Joel Jewell (Karen) of Fayetteville, Brian Jewell (Sarah) of Springdale; granddaughter, Brooke Buckley of Sherwood; and 6 great grandchildren, Luke, Christian and Jackson Jewell, Griffin, Haden and Sophie Buckley; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Leland and Joyce Turbyfill of Benton; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Francille was a lifelong resident of North Little Rock. She and her husband, Tommy, were owners of Lake Hill Cleaners in North Little Rock for 35 years. Francille was a realtor for 37 years. She was well known in the central Arkansas area as a top real estate agent. She loved the real estate profession and she really enjoyed helping others find the perfect home. Her husband suggested she take the real estate course and the rest is history. So many real estate professionals learned their craft from Francille. Real estate was her passion. Her business achievements include recognition twice as the North Pulaski Board of Realtors' Realtor of the Year and Charter Life Membership in the Realtors' Million Dollar Club. She held several offices with the North Pulaski County, Little Rock and Greater Little Rock Board of Realtors, as well as the Arkansas Realtors Association and was on Arkansas Business Journals list of Top Residential Real Estate Agents in Pulaski County. Mrs. Turbyfill was a sustaining member of the North Little Rock Junior League and the Quapaw Area Council of Boy Scouts of America. She was a member of the DAR. She served on the Community Advisory Board for Baptist Health Medical-North Little Rock and was a member of the Board of Directors for the North Little Rock Division of the American Heart Association. She was a Commissioner with Central Arkansas Water and North Little Rock Water Commissioner. The North Little Rock City Council appointed her as one of the city's first three representatives in the Board of Commissioners for Central Arkansas Water. Francille was a lifelong member of Lakewood United Methodist Church. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. We loved her more than words can say and will miss her dearly. Special thanks to the Baptist Hospice team and the loving caregivers at Fox Ridge Assisted Living in North Little Rock who took care of our mother and treated her as family. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Alzheimer's Association, 201 Markham Center Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72209. The family will receive friends, 5-7 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2017 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, located at 1921 Main St. Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Lakewood United Methodist Church, located at 1922 Topf Rd, in North Little Rock.
