Lisa Ann Crossland

Lisa Ann Crossland, 57, of Little Rock, passed away January 18, 2017 after a brief illness. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, she is survived by her mother, Gloria Housholder Crossland of Little Rock; father, Leroy Crossland (Marie) of Greenbrier; siblings, Al Crossland, Mary Jane Riggan (Tony) and Jamie Crossland (Caren), all of Little Rock; along with nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Cheri Lynne Crossland, and nephew, Capt. Anthony Riggan, Jr. (Nicole). In high school, Lisa was a standout basketball player at Pulaski Academy. Her love for sports led her to support the Razorbacks and the Kansas City Chiefs. Lisa had great taste in music, a heart wide open, full of love for animals. She loved gardening, enjoyed nature, had an infectious laugh and a great sarcastic sense of humor. An intelligent woman, she was an alumna of the University of Arkansas where she was a Pi Beta Phi sister. Lisa was loved for her honest and laid back personality. She loved her family and friends well. The family will greet friends on Sunday, January 22 from 1-3 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Lisa will be laid to rest next to her sister, Cheri Lynne, on Monday, January 23 at 1 p.m. at Green Hill Cemetery in Muskogee, Oklahoma, officiated by Rev. Shelby Smith.
