Helen Rudean (Coyle) Wallace, 84 of Bald Knob, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the Unity Hospital in Searcy. She was born March 14, 1932 at home in Seven Rivers, New Mexico to the late Albert Lonzo and Cora Bell (Sexton) Coyle. She was a homemaker and a member of the Judsonia Church of Christ. Rudean was faithful to her family and her God her whole life and was adored by her family. In her spare time she enjoyed the weekly ladies Bible class, flower gardening, quilting and playing Words With Friends on her iPad. She was also an avid Bridge player and taught the game to many friends. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Calvin Wallace; children, Larry Wallace(Chris), Theresa Thompson (Tony), Rachel Stegall (Patrick) and Lisa Owens (Lance); siblings, Dwight Coyle and Pauline Murdaugh; nine grandchildren, Melissa Robbins, Amy Gude, Elizabeth Davis, Michael Counts Jr., Sarah Wells, Austin, Matthew, Jackson and Lily Owens and 10 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, C.L. and Theryl Coyle, and one sister, Elzine Scarbrough. Neither time nor sickness could rob her of her great sense of humor, sharp mind, and quick wit. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob. Services will begin immediately at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery Steward Addition.
