Anna Louise Cordes

Anna Louise Cordes, 84, of Springdale, passed away on January 26, 2017 at Jamestown Health and Rehab in Rogers. She was born June 1, 1932 in Colcord, Oklahoma to Lafayette and Edith Johnson. Louise married Gerald (Jerry) Cordes on October 31, 1953. Jerry preceded her in death as well as one brother, Russell. She is survived by two sons, Cliff Cordes and his wife Kim and Larry Cordes and his wife Mandy. She has two granddaughters, Tiffany Cordes and Shae Alexandria. She is also survived by two brothers, Jimmy Johnson and John Johnson as well as many nieces and nephews. Louise worked many jobs throughout her life with her last one being Coger Drug Store on Emma St. in Springdale. She loved to spend time in her yard. She loved to make over babies at the grocery store. Her constant companions were her dogs, Spookie, Patches and Buffy. The family would like to thank the staff at Jamestown Health and Rehab for taking such good care of Louise the past several years. The good people at Circle of Life Hospice also provided much appreciated care and comfort in her final months. Funeral services will be Monday, January 30, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Gary Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Bluff Cemetery.
