Alan Edward Petlak, 52, of Sherwood passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017. He was born September 12, 1964 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Edward and Shirley Petlak. He was a member of That Church in Sherwood. He is survived by his parents; daughter, Carleigh Petlak and her mother, Anndi Easom Petlak; sister, Beth Petlak Canterbury and her husband Robby; nieces and nephew, Madison, Chase Alan, and Faith Canterbury; girlfriend, Wendy Vines; and other extended family. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, February 2, 2017, at the funeral home. A private inurnment will be held at Christ the King Columbarium at a later date.
