Jerry ‘Hoot' Gibson, 82, of Little Rock passed away June 22, 2017, from natural causes. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Mr. Gibson, a landscape architect, owned and operated Green Thumb Garden Center, of Little Rock, Ark., along with his wife of 65 years, Juanita Gibson, for over 40 years before retiring in 2004. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Steven Gibson, and wife, Juanita Gibson, both of Little Rock, Ark. Mr. Gibson is survived by one brother, Lee Farrier (Erma), of Mt. Home, Ark.; two sisters, Peggy Berkholtz, of St. Louis, Mo., and Vicky Rois, of Missouri; one daughter, Marlene Murphy (Jim), of Little Rock, Ark.; one son, Mark Gibson (Cindy), of Little Rock, Ark.; and one granddaughter, Kathleen Gibson, of Little Rock, Ark. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 1, 2017 in the Chapel of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark.
