Bobby Hugh Pond

Bobby Hugh Pond, age 80, of Fayetteville, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017. He was born on Sept. 24, 1936, in Cassville, Mo., to Frank L. and Gertrude Carney Pond. Bob spent 32 years as the Jr. Beef Superintendent for the Washington County Fair. He was a salesman for a cattle farm by trade and dearly loved the public relations portion of his job where he was able to interact with people. He also served for years on the Washington County Fair board. He was a member of Wiggins Memorial United Methodist Church for many years. He is survived by his loving wife, Janet Pond of the home; his daughter, Kellee Pew of Fayetteville; his sister, Patricia A. (Pat) Pond of Fayetteville; and his granddaughter, Emerson Pew.
