Victor Shawn Pierce

Victor Shawn Pierce, age 52, Fayetteville, died Friday, June 30, 2017 in Fayetteville. He was born July 11, 1964 in Pine Bluff, Ark., the son of Herbert and Iris Langley Pierce. He was a project manager for the University of Arkansas for 14 years before retiring in 2014. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Pierce; one daughter, Stephanie Pierce-Taylor and her husband Zach of Russellville; his parents, Herbert and Iris Pierce of Fayetteville; one grandson Pierce Lincoln Taylor; and numerous other family members. Visitation will be 12:30–2 p.m., Wednesday at the Farmington Church of Christ followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at the church.
