Doris Thompson

Doris Marie Thompson, on June 29, 2017, had a peaceful journey to be with the Lord. She was born to Hoyt and Vera Lee Roberts in Gulfport Mississippi on February 6, 1941. At an early age, Doris accepted Christ and maintained a strong faith in God throughout her life. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Hoyt and Vera Lee Roberts, Brothers, Leonard Roberts, Franklin Roberts, Charles Roberts, James Roberts, and her son, David Leon Thompson. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Howard Thompson, a loving daughter, Valerie (Earnest), Duckery, her brother, David (Shirley) Roberts, three grandchildren, Tristan, Devon, Taryn and one great-grandchild, Riley and a host of friends and relatives. Services will be held Friday, July 7th at 11 am at St John Baptist Church, Little Rock. Visitation will be held Thursday July 6th from 6-7 p.m. at Premier Funeral Home, Little Rock.
