Wina Faye Ward

Wina Faye Ward, 90, of Springdale, passed into paradise Friday July 14, 2017. She was born July 13, 1927 in Damascus, Ark. to the late Arlie and Mildred Odom. Faye was a graduate of Arkansas State Teachers College (UCA) with her major in Home Economics. She worked as a school teacher but her favorite occupation was being a Homemaker. Faye enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Central Methodist Church in Fayetteville. She was a member of P.E.O and the Garden club in Harrison. Faye is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Doyle W. Ward and her parents. Faye is survived by her daughters, Sondra Stone of Fayetteville, and Nancy Ward of Springdale, four grandchildren, Tracy Ervin McElhattan, Brian Wade Ervin, David Christopher Stone, and Kathryn Suzanne Stone, six great grandchildren, Noah and Luke McElhattan, Trenton and Avery Ervin, Ishmael and Alivia Stone, brothers, Doyle and Darrell Odom, nieces, nephews, extended family and cherished friends. Visitation will be Wednesday July 19, 2017 starting at 12 noon at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
