Steven Dale Scott, 59, of Rogers, died July 16, 2017 in Rogers, Ark. He was born February 11, 1958 in Tulsa, Okla. to Jimmy Dale and Myrtle Frances Burrow Scott. He was a former employee of Southwestern Bell. He is survived by his mother, Myrtle Scott of Rogers, Ark.; two sisters, Jimmie Lou Breshears of Tulsa, Okla. and Marla Hartmeier of Rogers, Ark. Funeral service will be Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Due to extreme heat no graveside service will be held in Akins Cemetery near Sallisaw, Okla. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home from 10 aa.. Thursday until service time.
