Kenneth Ashley Payne

Kenneth Ashley Payne, 83, of Raynham, Mass., died at his home on Saturday July 22. He served his country in the United States Navy. He was born on August 27, 1933 in Whitton, Ark. to William Elmer Payne and Lola Esther Kennedy Payne. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Rachel Louise Payne Bundy, his brothers, William Kennedy Payne, Ulyssess Elmer Payne, and infant brother, Victor Payne. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Payne of Raynham, Mass., two daughters, Lorie Payne Michel (Gene) of Ocala, Fla. and Crissie Payne Carter (Eddie) of Tunica, Miss., two sons, Danny Payne (Kim) of Toone, Tenn. and Kenny Payne (Amy) of Savannah, Tenn., one brother, Felix Payne (Francis) of Millington, Tenn., two sisters, Oma Jewel Payne Hinshaw (Maurice) of Griffithville, Ark. and Linda Payne Hillen (Russell) of Munford, Tenn. and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and friends. Visitation is 12 noon Thursday, July 27 at Judson Memorial Baptist Church with services following at 1 p.m. with Bro. Jim West conducting the service. Burial is in Welcome Home Cemetery.
