Harold Dean Wilborn, 84, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed from this life into the arms of his Lord after a long illness while surrounded by his family and friends on May 29, 2017. He was born on February 1, 1933 in Topeka, Kansas to the late Albert and Opal Wilborn. Dean served in the United State Airforce for 22 years, serving two tours in Korea and one tour in Vietnam before retiring. Dean worked in management in Civil Service and later as a civilian with the NAF at Little Rock Air Force base. He volunteered as the Director at the Jacksonville Care Channel for the Needy; with his wife at North Metro Hospital in Jacksonville and with his church, First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville for over 20 years in many areas. Dean is survived by his wife, Nancy Wilborn; two sons, Ric and Dean Wilborn; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. He is also preceded in death by his son, Rob and brother, Richard. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
