Horace W. Smith

HORACE W. SMTH age 88, passed May 28, 2017 in Little Rock, Ark. He was born June 28, 1928 in Tull, Ark., to the late William Pinkston Smith and Alice Vivian "Burrow" Smith. He retired from Reynolds Metals Company in Benton, Arka., and was a co-founder of Quapaw Realty in Little Rock, Ark. Survivors include his wife Bettie J. "Campbell" Smith, sons Vance Smith, Michael Morris, Ernest Norman, and daughter Teresa Croswell. Grandchildren Ricky Hinds, Richard Williams, Jennifer Olmedo, Kimberly Holdford and Laura Taylor. Great-grandchildren Deanna Hinds, Bailey Hinds, Marcus Holdford, Kayla Holdford, Emily Williams, Joshua Williams, Samantha Olmedo, Michael Olmedo, Deiva Ponce, Christopher Steward, Domonique Steward, Kelli Steward, Zoey Taylor and Zackarey Taylor. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Gertie V. West Smith, a daughter Arlene Morgan and grandchild Starlet Fowlkes. There will be a Memorial Service on Monday, June 19t 11 a.m. at Quapaw Quarter United Methodist Church, 1600 Louisiana, Little Rock, Ark. 72206, followed by a reception in the fellowship hall for family and friends.
