Syble C. Holt, age 86, of Jacksonville passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017. She was born April 30, 1931 in Greenville, MS to the late John and Macy Haggard. Mrs. Holt retired from Sylvan Hills High School, where she taught cosmetology. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Holt, one son, Phillip Holt, daughter in law, Delores Holt, son in law, Jimmy Blasingame, and one brother, Manuel L. Haggard. She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her children, Michael Holt (Brenda), Frances Blasingame, John G. Holt, Donna S. Wilson (Michael), grandchildren, Rosalind Holt, John Michael Holt, Brock Gossett, April Burns, Brooke Gossett, Joshua Kunk, Grayson Holt, Rebekah Holt, two sisters, Bobbie Ruth Gray and Annabelle Ladd, and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
