John "Jack" B. Ruprecht

John (Jack) B. Ruprecht born June 4th, 1932 to John and Bernice (Bosworth) Ruprecht in Merrill, Wisconsin, died May 31st at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. He graduated from Merrill High School in 1950 and worked in Merrill for several years before joining the Navy. He served his country for two years in the Navy. In 1954 Jack married the former Lois Schmolze, who preceded him in death. He worked for Pittsburg Testing and Foster Wheel. He was offered a position with the government DOD at Rock Island Arsenal working on M-1 and Bradley Tanks. He retired from the DOD in 1991. Jack married the former Joanne Poquette in 1995. They moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas in May 1999. He loved to golf and loved his golf group the Thursday Thumpers. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Joanne Ruprecht; son, Jon of Wisconsin; daughters, Linda Stanford (Mike) of Arizona, Kris Ruprecht of Wisconsin; four stepchildren, Stephen Poquette (Kay) of Wisconsin, Ronald Poquette (Sharon) of Wisconsin, Larry Poquette (Patricia) of Wisconsin, Denise (Robert) Withrow of Tennessee; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brother, Joel Ruprecht of Merrill, Wisconsin; and a sister, Denise Wolf of Arizona. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, June 9, 2017 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1 St. Bernard Lane, Bella Vista, Arkansas.
