Juanita Ruth Beavers

Juanita Ruth Beavers, 94, of Conway died Monday, June 12, 2017. She was born April 28, 1923 in Hattieville to the late W.T. and Lillie Goodall Simons. Mrs. Beavers was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Searcy and was a fierce lover of her family, saying what meant the most to her was raising her three children, helping with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and living for Jehovah. She also enjoyed camping, music, dancing, crocheting and reading her Bible. She loved to travel and take road trips as well as animals and gardening. Mrs. Beavers retired from Timex after 16 years of service. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Beavers was preceded in death by her first husband of 26 years, Ray Johnson, her second husband of 46 years, Garland T. Beavers and a son, Jerry Johnson. Mrs. Beavers is survived by her children, Dolores Stewart (Phil) of Conway and Thomas Johnson (Debra) of Oakdale, California; 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Denver Griffin officiating. Cremation arrangements are by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816.
