Mamie Don Ketchum Hargraves, 88, of Alexander, went to embrace the Lord's open arms on May 29, 2017. She was born in Lonoke to Hoyt Ketchum and Reba Brown Tarry Ketchum Woods. She attended Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock where she was a member of Antioch Deaf Fellowship. She graduated in 1949 at Arkansas School for the Deaf in Little Rock. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Wesley; daughter, Billie Don Jordan of Alexander; two grandchildren, John Albert Jordan III (Melissa) of Fort Worth, Texas; granddaughter, Isabella Mara Jordan of Austin, Texas; and sister, Anne Ketchum Heagler of Pine Bluff. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Wanda Ketchum; brother, Edward Ketchum; infant sister, Nell Ketchum; and her beloved son, Al Jordan. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 22, at 11 a.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 5300 Stagecoach Road in Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church Deaf Fellowship or Arkansas School for the Deaf Historical Museum.
