William Henry Whitmer Jr., 91, of Sherwood, Ark., passed away June 13, 2017. He was born Oct. 8, 1925 in Omaha, Neb., to William and May Whitmer. He served in the Navy in WWII in the South Pacific.
Survived by sons Bill (Anne) Whitmer; George (Patti) Whitmer; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by wife, Lola Whitmer; grandson, Corey Whitmer; parents; brothers, Worth and Wayne Whitmer.
