Lyndell Hughes, 82 of Fordyce died Friday June 23, 2017. She was born May 26, 1935 to the late Herschel and Katie Abbott. She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Hughes; two sisters and one brother. She is survived by one son, Charles Hughes (Kim) of Fordyce; one daughter, Sarah Mitchell (Danny) of Kingsland; three grandchildren; one step-grandson; three great-grandchildren. Visitation: Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services 10 a.m. Monday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery.
