Jamie Don Farmer, 62, of Springdale, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017. He was born Nov. 19, 1954 in Sikeston, Mo., to Theron Joe and Tempy Jene Thomas Farmer. Jamie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and time outdoors. He was always busy and worked for Tyson and Cargill for many years. He loved his family, music, playing the guitar and his dog, Roady.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Margie, and his number one son, Chris, of Springdale; two sisters, Linda McCarver of Springdale, Faye Hamblen of Farmington; and two brothers, Garrett Farmer of Springdale, and Ricky Farmer of Bentonville. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Virginia Vowel, Betty Kincaid, Helen Joan Farmer; and one brother, Jerry Farmer.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, at Friendship Cemetery. Arrangements are with Heritage Funeral Home, online guestbook at www.heritageofnwa.com.
